“SEASIDE GETAWAY”
Fabulous Kiwi-style bach in a quiet part of Waitarere Beach with plenty of space for the kids to roam. The outdoor setup has a gas BBQ and outdoor furniture and the bach has a fully-equipped kitchen. It is a five-minute walk to the beach and from the township (4 square grocery store and the Beachside cafe). If you leave the gate open, you'll be sure to have a visit from our neighbour's pony, Fern, who enjoys munching on the grass and loves a rub behind the ears.
The bach has three rooms. One with a queen bed (sleeps 2), a room with two bunks (sleeps 4), and the "nest"/loft which has a double bed and single bed (sleeps 2-3 people). Please be aware that the spiral staircase to the loft may not be suitable for the under 5 year old crowd (and sometimes spooks little dogs!), but we have a child gate we can install to dissuade children/little dogs from climbing the staircase.
If the weather turns or you're looking for some down time, the bach has games and toys for children, as well as a DVD player and a large selection of DVDs. The TV has a Chromecast and the bach has unlimited wi-fi so you can stream your content to the TV.
